Apple upgrades 21.5-inch iMac and iMac Pro with faster processors, SSDs and more

Recently, Apple has upgraded the iMac line-up. The 2020 21.5-inch iMac and iMac Pro have been equipped with advance hardware for faster and improved performance. The new 21.5-inch iMac will ship with SSDs and iMac Pro will come standard with a 10- core Intel Xeon processor and more.
Contrary to the speculations of delay, Apple has released the 2020 iMac line-up with major upgrades amid COVID-19 pandemic. Tech analysts were also expecting a redesigned look with thinner bezels to enlarge the display of the new iMacs but the company has continued with the same language design of previous-generation iMacs.
The release notes of the update reads,
“Apple today also announced that its 21.5-inch iMac will come standard with SSDs across the line for the first time. Customers can also choose to configure their 21.5-inch iMac with a Fusion Drive.
iMac Pro now comes standard with a 10-core Intel Xeon processor. Designed for pro users who require workstation-class performance, iMac Pro features Xeon processors up to 18 cores, graphics performance up to 22 teraflops, up to 256GB quad-channel ECC memory, and a brilliant 27-inch Retina 5K display.”
