CARROT Weather, the popular weather prediction app known for its humorous and engaging interface, has just launched its latest version, 6.0. This update introduces a slew of new features, a refreshed design, and enhanced customization options, making it a must-have tool for weather enthusiasts. One of the standout features of CARROT Weather 6.0 is the new Garden layout. This interactive design element adds a playful and dynamic touch to the app. Users will see little robots—Droney, Rover, and Stretch—pruning trees, watering plants, and delivering supplies throughout the day. The garden evolves and changes over the month, resetting at the start of each month to keep the scenery fresh and engaging.

The Hourly Forecast section now includes a data point picker, allowing users to select and view specific weather data points such as precipitation chance and wind speed directly on the main screen. This feature is complemented by line charts that animate smoothly and change color, offering a clear and visually appealing way to understand weather trends over time.

CARROT Weather 6.0 introduces over a dozen new layout options, giving users unprecedented control over their interface. These options include new styles for the Weather Alerts, Minutely Forecast, Hourly Forecast, and Daily Forecast sections. Users can now toggle between a precipitation chart and a mini radar map in the Minutely Forecast section, making it easier to access the most relevant weather information quickly.

The updated app now features a Weather News section, with articles sourced from AccuWeather. This section provides insights into major weather events around the globe, tailored to the user’s specific geographic region. Local weather news appears higher in the layout, ensuring that users stay informed about conditions that directly impact them.

A new popup notification compares the current day’s temperature with the previous day’s weather when the app is opened in the morning. This feature helps users get a quick sense of how the day’s weather will feel relative to the day before. Additional details about yesterday’s weather can be found in the Daily Details screen.

CARROT Weather offers three subscription levels to unlock various premium features. The Premium tier ($4.99/month or $19.99/year) includes weather data sources, notifications, maps, customization options, widgets, and Apple Watch complications.
