About iOS 17.0.2 update

Apple just released iOS 17 to all users last Monday and this is already the second update to the operating system. The previous one, iOS 17.0.1, featured a number of critical security fixes.

This is all Apple’s official release notes have to say about this update:

This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and fixes an issue that may prevent transferring data directly from another iPhone during setup.

There are still a number of iOS 17 features that were delayed and are expected to be released before the end of this year or the first half of 2024.

Make sure to download and install the software update on your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Ensure that your device has at least 50% battery charge before starting the download.
